Dank des verhältnismäßig geringen Gewichts, sowie der ergonomischen Griffe und der Sägekopfsicherung ist die Kappsäge für den einhändigen Transport geeignet. Für besonders breite Werkstücke ist der Sägekopf mit einer Zugfunktion ausgestattet. Dank der Materialklemme lässt sich das Werkstück von oben oder von vorne sicher fixieren. Mithilfe des Tiefenanschlags ist die Kappsäge auch zum Nuten geeignet. Aufgrund dessen, das der Sägekopf nach links neigbar ist und einen zusätzlichem Winkelbereich für Hinterschnitte besitzt, lassen sich auch Gehrungsschnitte herstellen. Das aus Aluminiumdruckguss bestehende Gehäuse trotzt härtesten Ansprüchen. Der Sägeblattwechsel lässt sich dank der Spindelarretierung einfach und schnell durchführen. Es ist keine Demontage der Pendelschutzhaube erforderlich. Die Einstellung gängiger Winkel über Rastpunkte ist schnell und präzise umsetzbar. Sämtliche Bedienelemente und Skalen, sind gut erreichbar und gut ablesbar.
