The 2-stage electronics allow the speed to be precisely adjusted to the respective application: whether as a powerful brush cutter for dense vegetation or as a lawn trimmer for finer work. The patented gearbox ensures particularly effective power transmission even under heavy loads, guaranteeing consistently high cutting performance. The DCM 571 can be operated both with string and with different cutting blades, making it extremely versatile. The bump-feed thread head allows the thread length to be easily adjusted with a quick tap - ideal for efficient work without interruption. Ergonomically, the device impresses with a rubberised handle and a balanced design with an optimised centre of gravity, which significantly increases operating comfort - even for longer periods of use. The full compatibility with the existing 54V XR FLEXVOLT batteries is particularly practical, allowing the brush cutter to be seamlessly integrated into existing DeWalt systems.
