    The 118 fast charger is designed for all 18.0-volt DEWALT XR slide batteries with up to 8 A as well as DeWalt FLEXVOLT batteries (54.0 or 18.0 volts with max. 6.0 Ah). Moreover, it features a 2-stage charging process with special fan cooling, which ensures a long battery life and maximum storage capacity through gentle charging. It also features a built-in LED display that provides information on the battery and charging status for greater working comfort. Besides, this DCB 118 from DeWalt is also suitable for wall mounting as well as its compact dimensions for optimal installation. Also included with the DeWalt DCB 118 XR FlexVolt 54 V / 18 V quick charger are 3x batteries DCB 546 XR FlexVolt 54 / 18 V 6.0 Ah Li-lon from DeWalt which impress with their 108 Wh capacity and are therefore perfect for heavy-duty applications over a longer period of time. The DCB 546 is retro-compatible and can be used to a large extent in all 18.0 volt XR tools. Special electronics provide the DCB 546 with effective protection against overload, overheating, and deep discharge. Their robust and shock-resistant design and their vibration-resistant battery cells are soldered into place. Furthermore, this DCB 546 from DeWalt features a charge level indicator with 3 LEDs and a high running performance thanks to its 6.0 Ah capacity. The FlexVolt 54 V battery is memory-free and does not self-discharge. It is compatible with all DeWalt XR cordless tools with 54.0 volts and 18.0 volts (except DCS 371 band saw, DCR 016, 017 radios, and Tough-Radio).
