The Electrolux E8SI1-8EGM iron features a high power output of 2800 watts that allows it to reach a maximum temperature of 180°C in a short time. It features patented Precision Care technology that determines the optimal ironing temperature using the Smart Thermostat sensor. The light on the front of the iron turns on when the optimal temperature is reached. You can choose from 4 preset programs for outdoor, wool, cotton and linen on the digital touch control on the handle. Thanks to its Outdoor Care technology, the Outdoor program restores the water repellency of functional fabrics. In addition, the iron has a three-position automatic shut-off so it shuts off after 30 seconds if placed on the plate or side or after 8 minutes if placed on the heel. The water tank has a capacity of 370 ml and can be filled from the back. Its decalcifying system softens the water with the help of an activator and the FlushClean function. This keeps the steam clean and soft, extending the life of the iron. The E8SI1-8EGM is equipped with an electrical indicator light that signals the need to replace the activator.
