Product Description:
The Festool HLC 82 cordless planer is the ideal partner for fast and precise fitting work, both on the construction site and in the workshop. With a maximum chip removal of 2.5 mm and a rebate depth of up to 25 mm, this handy planer offers both high performance and flexibility for a wide range of applications, such as chamfering beams, processing edge transitions on timber stud walls or rebating doors. Thanks to its pulling cut and spiral blade, the HLC 82 ensures a particularly fine surface finish and works much more quietly than conventional planers. The three integrated 90° V-grooves in the planer base make chamfering child's play, and the two different extraction channels enable efficient chip extraction, even for continuous applications with higher chip removal rates. Additional convenience is provided by the suction nozzle that can be attached on both sides, which keeps the suction hose out of the way and enables more flexible handling. The removable bevel sole makes it easy and uncomplicated to create bevels on beams and squared timber quickly and precisely. The precise cutting depth setting of 0-2.5 mm on the rotary wheel is easily accessible and allows for simple adjustment, even while planing. The brushless EC-TEC motor ensures constant power, even at maximum cutting depth, while the quick brake stops the planer in less than 2 seconds, minimising the risk of injury and possible damage to the workpiece. The HLC 82 is compatible with all Festool 18V battery packs (except Ergopack) and offers an ergonomic design for easy guidance on the workpiece, making work even more comfortable overall.
