The Kreg K4 drilling jig is the perfect choice for DIY enthusiasts and makes it easier to get started with wood joining solutions with pocket holes. The 3 drill guides help you achieve perfectly positioned pocket holes for a variety of materials, widths and thicknesses from 1/2" to 11/2" (12-38mm) in increments of 1/8" (3mm). Each Kreg drill guide is made of hardened steel with a lifetime guarantee. The core encases the drill bit and supports the workpiece throughout the hole, resulting in high drilling accuracy, reduced material tear-off and a clean pocket hole ready for immediate finishing. The generously proportioned niche allows the drilling jig to be securely attached to your workbench. The Kreg drilling template K4 has a lever clamp mounted on the back. Its proven concept offers incredible stability and holds the workpiece firmly in place. Adjustment is made simply by loosening the locking nut and then turning to the correct setting. The blue housing of every Kreg K4 drilling jig is made from a strong, glass-reinforced nylon. This unique composite material provides the necessary strength and flexibility without sacrificing strength or durability. Unlike conventional jigs with a narrower angle of attack, this jig offers an optimised drilling angle chosen to increase drive efficiency while minimising pocket hole size. This allows compact pocket holes to be achieved in sizes under 11/2" (38mm). It also has an exit hole for wood chips for each of the drill guides. These are designed to keep the drill bit free of excess wood chips, minimising resistance when drilling and increasing the life of the drill bit. This results in a perfect pocket hole the first time you use it. The Kreg jig system makes it easy and convenient for any craftsman to produce high-quality furniture and woodwork.
