Der Akku Rasenmäher DLM 431 von Makita kann mit allen 18 V Akkus aus dem Hause Makita betrieben werden. Durch die 2x 18 V Akkus kommt der Rasenmäher auf eine Gesamtspannung von 36 V. Durch den Elektromotor ist der Rasenmäher nicht nur besonders Umweltfreundlich, sondern spart obendrein noch eine Menge Treibstoffkosten. Ein Fangkorb von 50 Liter Fassungsvermögen ist im Lieferumfang enthalten. Der Fangkorb ist mit einer blauen Klappe, welche als Füllstandsanzeige gekennzeichnet ist, ausgestattet. Wenn sich die kleine Klappe nicht mehr öffnen lässt, ist der Behälter voll und sollte im ausgeschalteten Zustand entleert werden. Der DML 431 eignet sich für kleine bis mittlere Rasenflächen bestens und durch faltbaren Holm ist das Gartengerät platzsparend bei der Verstauung. Der Makita BL 1840 B Akku mit 4 Ah überzeugt mit maximierter Ausdauer bei gleichem Gewicht (im vergleich zu 3 Ah Akkus). Ein zusätzlicher Vorteil ist die kurze Ladezeit von nur 36 Minuten im Makita Ladegerät. Der Akku verfügt dank geringer Selbstentladung und Kurzschluß-, Überspannungs- und Überhitzungsschutz über maximale Lebensdauer. Zudem besitzt der BL 1840 B noch eine LED - Ladestandanzeige zum Überprüfen der Restenergie im Akku.
