Product Description:

This power tool is specifically designed for making plunge cuts. The tool is also suitable for making longitudinal and cross cuts in wood. When fitted with a standard circular saw blade, it can be used for cutting aluminium, plastic, thermosets and similar materials. The cordless plunge saw features a brushless motor, which ensures increased endurance, a longer service life, a more compact design and enhanced performance. The plunge circular saw has adjustable speed, constant-speed electronics, a soft-start function and overload protection to safeguard the motor. During operation, the circular saw utilises Automatic Torque Drive Technology, which automatically regulates the speed to achieve optimum performance depending on the requirements. The plunge saw features quick-adjust angle settings for -1°, 22.5° and a quick-select option of 45° or 48° as the maximum tilt angle. The cutting point remains exactly the same for all angle settings. The scoring mode ensures a tear-free cut. The saw is compatible with Makita guide rails. Even at the maximum tilt angle, the DSP 600 does not tip off the guide rail. The 6.0Ah batteries impress with their high endurance and power output, whilst weighing just 40 grams more than the 5.0Ah batteries. The Makpac is designed for the convenient storage and transport of the saw and the batteries.
