Product Description:

This power tool is specifically designed for making plunge cuts. The tool is also suitable for making rip and cross cuts in wood. When fitted with a standard circular saw blade, it can be used for cutting aluminium, plastic, thermosets and similar materials. The cordless plunge saw features a brushless motor, which ensures increased endurance, a longer service life, a more compact design and enhanced performance. The plunge circular saw features variable speed control, constant-speed electronics, soft start and overload protection to safeguard the motor. During operation, the circular saw utilises Automatic Torque Drive Technology, which automatically regulates the speed to achieve optimum performance depending on the task at hand. The plunge saw features quick-adjust angle settings for -1°, 22.5° and a quick-select option of 45° or 48° as the maximum tilt angle. The cutting point remains exactly the same for all angle settings. The scoring mode ensures a tear-free cut. Even at the maximum tilt angle, the saw does not slip off the guide rail. The tool is compatible with Makita guide rails. The 6.0 Ah batteries offer even greater runtime and power output compared to the 5.0 Ah batteries. The dual charger fully charges each 6.0 Ah battery in 55 minutes.
