Product Description:
The power tool is specially designed for making plunge cuts. The tool is also intended for longitudinal and cross cuts in wood. If the tool is fitted with a regular circular saw blade, it can be used for sawing aluminium, plastic, mineral plastic and similar materials. The cordless plunge-cut saw impresses with its brushless motor, which stands for increased endurance, longer service life, more compact design and increased performance. The plunge-cut circular saw has an adjustable speed, constant electronics, soft start and overload protection, which protects the motor. The circular saw has automatic torque drive technology that automatically regulates the speed during operation to achieve optimum performance depending on requirements. The plunge-cut saw has a quick angle setting for -1°, 22.5° and a quick preselection of 45° or 48° as the maximum tilt angle. The cutting point remains in exactly the same position for all angle settings. The scribing mode ensures a tear-free cut. Even at the highest tilt angle, the DSP 600 does not tip off the guide rail. The saw is compatible with Makita guide rails. The Makita rip fence is essential for precise cutting results. The high quality of workmanship from Makita ensures a long service life. The rip fence is compatible with the CA 5000 panel saw and the DSP 600, DSP 601, SP6 000 and SP 6000 cordless plunge-cut saws. The Makita BL 1850 B battery impresses with its long working time. An additional advantage is the short charging time of just 45 minutes in the Makita charger. Thanks to low self-discharge and short-circuit, overvoltage and overheating protection, the battery has a maximum service life. The BL 1850 B also has an LED charge level indicator to check the remaining energy in the battery. The Makita DC 18 SD is a charger for Li-ion and Ni-MH batteries from 7.2 - 18V. The charger has an LED display that provides information on the current status of the charging process. Enables optimum working with the guide rail for plunge-cut saws, circular hand saws and routers: Made from an extruded aluminium construction, the guide rail is ideal for use with various materials. It has a replaceable splinter guard, is non-slip and can be combined with the upper running strips for longer lengths. The splinter guard is transparent and therefore not visible on the guide rail. The Makita guide rail connectors make it easy to connect two or more rails with a perfect fit. The guide rail connectors disappear completely into the guide rail, allowing the machine to glide smoothly over it. A secure and firm hold is guaranteed by screwing the guide rail connectors into the guide rail. The screw clamps from Makita are particularly robust and durable. They are made from all-steel and are powerful and ideal for Makita guide rails and plunge-cut saws. The throat depth is 100 mm and the clamping width is 185 mm.
