Product Description:
The DTD173 cordless impact wrench from Makita impresses with its compact design, low weight and an impressive tightening torque of 180 Nm. This versatile tool is equipped with four specially developed screwdriving modes to meet the different requirements of everyday work. These are the wood mode, the mode for machine screws and two additional T-modes. Wood mode starts at a low speed and increases this automatically as soon as the screw is gripped until the maximum speed is reached. The screw mode automatically stops the tool in anti-clockwise rotation mode as soon as screws or nuts have been sufficiently loosened. T1 mode is ideal for fast tightening: The screw is screwed in at high speed and the impact mode starts shortly afterwards. In T2 mode, tear-out of the thread is prevented by the tool reducing the speed after the start of impact operation. A continuous light ring on the 1/4" tool holder ensures better visibility in the working area. A new bit holder with reduced resistance also makes installation easier and ensures that the bits are held more securely. With these well thought-out features, the Makita DTD173 is the perfect companion for precise and efficient work.
