The Makita DUR 190 LZX3 cordless grass trimmer is a powerful tool for professional garden maintenance work that impresses with its advanced technology and outstanding ergonomics. Equipped with an 18 V battery, this trimmer offers optimised energy utilisation and low power consumption thanks to an efficient brushless motor. The ADT (Automatic Torque Drive Technology) automatically adjusts the speed during operation to always deliver optimum performance under different load conditions. Additional safety is provided by AFT (Active Feedback Sensing Technology), which stops the motor immediately if the tool jams. The trimmer is also equipped with XPT (Extreme Protection Technology), which offers a high level of protection against dust and splash water and therefore works reliably even in tough conditions. The lawn trimmer is characterised by low vibration and noise levels, which together with the good ergonomics guarantee user-friendly handling. The tool-free adjustable shaft, a universal protective cover that is suitable for metal blades as well as plastic blades and string heads, and the ability to remove grass clippings by simply reversing the direction of rotation increase the versatility and user-friendliness of this device. The built-in deep discharge protection protects the battery by automatically switching off the device as soon as the battery is almost empty, which ensures the longevity of the battery and the trimmer.
