This battery can be charged to 80% in just 35 minutes and fully charged in 50 minutes using the DC40RA fast charger, making it ideal for professional applications where time is of the essence. The battery charge level indicator, consisting of four green LEDs and a query button, always provides reliable information about the remaining energy capacity. The robust housing of the battery is specially designed for tough construction site use and fulfils the IP64 protection standard, which makes the battery particularly resistant to water and dust. In addition, three internal protective layers ensure increased drop resistance. A digital communication system between the battery and the machine ensures optimised performance, while the active cooling system maximises battery life and makes it ideal for machines that are frequently used in continuous operation. With its advanced technology and robust design, the Makita BL 4050 F battery is a reliable power source for long-lasting and efficient work processes. With the DC 40 RA 40 volt charger, Makita has created a new flagship for all 40 volt batteries and for 14.4 V and 18 volt batteries (with adapter, not included).
