The TiAlN wear protection coating increases the surface hardness of the tool to approx. 3,000 HV / micro hardness and the hot hardness resistance to up to 900°C. It is characterised by high toughness and high thermal and chemical stability. It is characterised by high toughness as well as high thermal and chemical stability and is used to achieve longer tool life and cutting values. Suitable for dry machining thanks to the TiAlN coating.
