Product description:

Spax presents a completely new type of wood adjustment screws . They are equipped with a T-Star drive that provides a very good hold for the bit. They also feature a cleanly countersinkable flat head that pulls the wood fibres downwards when screwed in. This allows other components to be placed without gaps and with a precise fit. In addition, their WIROX coating ensures a higher level of corrosion protection than conventional bare zinc coatings. Their resistance is also maximised owing to the higher hardness of the surface. These properties make the screws an all-rounder for indoor and outdoor use. Spax also sets new standards with the adjustment screws in terms of force transmission, screw-in speed and splitting effect, giving work efficiency a significant boost. The unique 4CUT tip and the wave profile enable - depending on the type of wood - processing without pre-drilling. The Spax thread ensures fast screwing in with little effort owing to the sliding coating and optimum thread increase. In addition, Spax has provided the screws with special retaining grooves that ensure a secure hold in the wood. The screws can be used in a wide range of tasks: common tasks such as the suspension of ceiling panelling, wall panelling or even floor renovations are no challenge for the screws. Even screwing of counter-battening for under-rafters and between-rafter insulation is no problem for the screw. If you place a lot of value on safety with fast and controlled screwing, these screws are a real stroke of luck!
