Product Description:

The SPAX HI.FORCE pan-head screw is ideal for use in timber construction and staircase building. Unlike countersunk-head screws, the pan-head screw has a higher pull-through force, allowing for greater spacing between screws. The wave profile at the tip of the thread ensures secure and rapid screw-in. Thanks to the 4CUT tip (square tip), screwing without pre-drilling (depending on the wood) is no longer a problem. The ingenious tip ensures reduced splitting, displaces wood fibres and reduces the screw-in torque. A further advantage is that the partially threaded screw requires significantly less driving torque thanks to the 4CUT profile at the end of the thread. The T-STAR plus system ensures a clean fit and better grip of the BIT, thereby optimising power transmission and protecting the screw head. The WIROX surface provides high corrosion protection. The alloy is chromium(VI)-free and therefore more environmentally friendly than conventional finishes. The familiar 100% “Made in Germany” quality of SPAX screws is certified by a comprehensive testing procedure carried out by TÜV with proof of origin, offering a high degree of safety and consistency.
