SPAX presents Multi countersunk head universal screws with T-STAR plus which guarantee greater flexibility for the user owing to their universal use for working with various materials such as wood, plastic or sheet metal. With the recessed pocket segments and the milling ribs, these handtools ensure a clean and flush countersinking of the screw in wood. Their brake ribs effectively prevent overtightening when working with metal fittings, thus creating a solid connection between the fitting and the component. Their T-STAR plus (Torx) socket allows better transmission of force to the screw, longer service life and faster threading of the screw with a better fit on the workpiece at the same time. The integrated 4CUT point allows screwing without pre-drilling (depending on the wood used), which is achieved by the square shape of the screw from the point to the transition of the thread to the shank. This 4CUT shape reduces splicing of the material and significantly reduces the screw-in torque. In addition, SPAX typical wave profile of the partial thread ensures an easy and secure screwing. The new WIROX coating from SPAX also guarantees 20 times greater corrosion protection and a significantly higher surface hardness than conventional bright zinc plating on screws, which means that the range of tasks can be extended many times over in outdoor areas. The usual 100% "Made in Germany" quality of SPAX screws is certified by an elaborate testing procedure by TÜV with proof of origin and offers a high level of safety and durability.
